Workshops

Ennis Regional Learning Centre will host a series of FREE 'Return to Learning' Workshops for adult learners (18+) who are considering applying for a third level course. The workshops will focus on the information that adult learners need to make a decision about applying to third level colleges, as well as an introduction to the academic skills required to succeed at third level.

All workshops will take place from 7 - 9 p.m. on Wednesday evenings.

Each session is designed to be interactive and enjoyable and will be delivered by individuals who work in or with third level institutions. Adult learners are welcome to attend all workshops or only those that are most relevant. Some of the workshops may also be of interest to those who have recently progressed to a third level course.

2. Discover your learning style             
3. Effective note-taking at third level  
4. The CAO application process       
5. Academic writing (1) for third level  
6. Academic writing (2) for third level    

These workshops are free of charge, but places must be booked in advance.
