Prepare for mature student interview FREE workshop

Posted: May 07, 2010

On Wednesday 19th May 7.00-8.30pm, Ennis Regional Learning Centre, Clare Museum, will host a free workshop for people who are preparing for mature student interviews for entry to third level courses. Mature students who applied either through the Central Applications Office in February or directly to third level institutions such as University of Limerick or Mary Immaculate College, may be called for an interview to discuss their application and suitability for entry to a particular third level course.

Dr. John McDonagh, Lecturer, Faculty of Arts, Mary Immaculate College, will provide some advice and information to help mature students get through the interview process confidently. The mature student interview can be a nerve racking experience, especially for adults who have been out of the formal education system for a long time. This workshop can help you prepare to focus on the positive attributes that you bring as a mature student and give you some useful tips on the type of information that interviewers will want to hear about you.

To book a place on the mature student interview workshop please contact Ruth or Anne or 6866844 or (JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) .
