Effective Note-Taking (so you can read and understand them afterwards!) - Thursday, 10th March 2011
Workshop description: In this workshop, you will learn useful tips on how to take effective notes in class. You will also engage in activities which will enhance your reading, selecting and note-taking skills. You will practice paraphrasing and summarising techniques so that you are equipped with the skills needed to distinguish between your own words and the words of the person you are reading.
Time: 6.30pm – 8.00pm, Thursday, 10th March 2011
